Sustainable Event Design: Heineken F1 Miami and W Hotel Builds

Sustainability is a growing focus in event design, and I’ve had the privilege of working on some exciting eco-friendly projects. From a bar and F1 car display for Heineken at the F1 Miami Grand Prix to a custom bar cart for the W Hotel in Miami, these builds highlight how sustainable materials can transform spaces without compromising style or quality.

Eco-Friendly Materials in the Heineken F1 Miami Build

For Heineken’s F1 Miami Grand Prix activation, we used an innovative material that recreates the beauty of wood but is far more sustainable. Made from upcycled rice hulls in a zero-waste environment, this product offered the durability we needed to build a bar, bar back and an F1 car display that captured the essence of the race while respecting the planet. Resistant to Miami’s heat and humidity, it was the perfect choice for a stunning, sustainable installation.

The W Hotel Bar Cart: A Stylish, Sustainable Addition

In collaboration with the W Hotel in Miami, we designed a custom bar cart that blended elegance with sustainability. Using the same eco-friendly materials, this cart became a focal point at the hotel, showcasing how green design can be both functional and visually striking. The cart not only aligned with the hotel’s chic aesthetic but also served as a statement piece about the importance of sustainable choices in luxury spaces.
